Google’s april fools joke cost people their jobs today. According to The Daily Beast, Gmail enabled a special version of the send button that fired off a GIF of one of those damn minions dropping a microphone at the end of your email when clicked. And here’s the worst part, if someone responded to your email, you wouldn’t have seen it. And you have forwaded the email to your boss. Then your job is might be at a risk.

This is what happened today when Gmail added a special button to joke people on April fool. Many people used the button starting from Australia.

Anf then after many complaints, a few lost jobs, and some awkward silences, Google disabled MicDrop function.
