Arbaaz Khan is an Indian artist, director, and film producer who mainly works in Hindi movies. He has also featured in a few films in Urdu, Telugu, and Malayalam. Khan has performed in both leading and supporting roles.  

His production studio, Arbaaz Khan Productions, first produced the movie Dabangg in 2010. He starred as the younger brother of his real-life brother Salman Khan.

About Arbaaz Khan

Arbaaz Khan is the brother of Sohail Khan and Salman Khan, both famous actors. His niece, Alvira Khan, is married to Atul Agnihotri, a Bollywood artist

He made his acting debut in 1996 with the movie Daraar. He played a considerable role in the villainous character of a psychotic wife-beater.

He acted in several multi-star hit movies such as Garv: Pride and Honor and Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya, in which he appeared alongside his brother Salman. 

Early Roles

In the film Qayamat: City Under Threat, a hit movie at the Indian box office, Arbaaz Khan played a villain's role. 

In the super hit Priyadarshan, the comedy film Hulchul, Bhagam Bhag, and Malamaal Weekly, Arbaaz also played some supporting roles.

He also played a supporting role in the multi-star Fool and Final and Shootout at Lokhandwala in 2007, as a mobster and a police officer.  

Arbaaz Khan also starred in Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, a mega-hit blockbuster starring Genelia D'Souza and Imran Khan. He also appeared in the television film Karishma: A Destiny Miracle in 2003. 

Venture in Film Production

In 2010, with Arbaaz Khan Productions, Khan went into film production, and his first film as a director was Dabangg, which was released in September 2010. 

In the leading role, the movie starred his brother Salman as the anti-hero, Chulbul Pandey, alongside Arbaaz as Makhi, his younger brother. 

The famous movie "Munni Badnaam" featured his former wife, Malaika Arora Khan. 

Within the first week of its release, the film became a success and broke many box office records, becoming the second highest-grossing Bollywood film of all time. 

Marriage Relationships and Children

He was married to Malaika Arora, an actress. During a coffee ad shoot, they met each other and were blown up by each other at their very first encounter. 

They became good friends in no time and began dating each other. 

They were married in the tradition of Christians and Muslims on 12 December 1998 after dating for five long years. And it won't be unfair to say that when they announced their divorce, everyone was surprised. 

The couple has a son named Arhaan Khan. To make him a happier child, the ex-couple are now co-parenting their son and are jointly raising him.

It's almost impossible for you to keep them away from scandal while you're in show business. He has also been involved in many scandals as an established celebrity. Some of those scandals include the following.

  • On 1 July 2008, his car killed an elderly woman who was 70 years old, and the woman's family sought compensation from him. His family, however, declined to pay any amount because the woman's family had disowned her before her death.
  • In the year 2018, he confessed to betting in IPL for the previous 5 years. Betting is illegal in India and his confession to this crime caused a scandal across India and tarnished his name.

Although not as famous as his brother, Salman Khan, the actor has had his share of decent film roles in Bollywood and has also got into production.
