Rousey began her career as a mixed martial artist in 2010 and became the first American woman to earn an Olympic medal in judo. Rousey signed with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) in 2012 where she enjoyed a 2.5-year undefeated streak. She became the first female champion in the history of UFC and holds the record as the longest ever reigning UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion.
